This Puppy Purchase Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Jenny’s Minis & More (“Seller”) and the Purchaser (“Buyer”) on the date of purchase.

The Buyer acknowledges that the puppy has been examined, appears healthy at the time of sale, and has received age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming unless otherwise stated.

Buyer’s Responsibilities

The Buyer agrees to:

  • Provide routine veterinary care, including vaccinations, parasite prevention, and annual wellness exams.
  • Provide proper nutrition, fresh water, exercise, shelter, and socialization.
  • Seek immediate veterinary care if the puppy becomes ill or injured.
  • Follow all veterinarian recommendations regarding the puppy’s health and well-being.

Failure to provide proper care may void this health guarantee.

One-Year Genetic Health Guarantee

Jenny’s Minis & More guarantees this puppy against life-altering congenital or hereditary genetic defects for one (1) year from the puppy’s date of birth.

A congenital or hereditary condition is defined as a genetic defect that significantly affects the puppy’s quality of life or is considered life-threatening by a licensed veterinarian.

If a qualifying hereditary condition is diagnosed within the one-year guarantee period:

  • The Buyer must provide complete medical records from a licensed veterinarian.
  • The Seller reserves the right to obtain a second opinion from a veterinarian of the Seller’s choosing.
  • If the condition is confirmed to be hereditary, the Seller may, at their discretion:
    • Replace the puppy with one of comparable value from a future litter, or
    • Provide another mutually agreed-upon resolution.

This guarantee does not include reimbursement for veterinary expenses, medications, surgeries, diagnostic testing, travel expenses, emotional damages, or any other related costs.

Health Guarantee Exclusions

The following are not covered under this health guarantee:

  • Cosmetic traits or appearance.
  • Bite changes due to normal growth.
  • Injuries, accidents, neglect, abuse, or improper care.
  • Illnesses caused after the puppy leaves the Seller’s home.

Giardia & Coccidia

Giardia and Coccidia are common intestinal parasites that can be found in many environments and may become active during times of stress, including transitioning to a new home.

For this reason, Giardia and Coccidia are specifically excluded from this health guarantee.

Parvovirus

The Seller does not guarantee against exposure to Parvovirus after the puppy leaves our care.

However, if the puppy develops Parvovirus within seventy-two (72) hours of leaving Jenny’s Minis & More, and the diagnosis is confirmed by a licensed veterinarian with supporting medical records, the Seller will review the case and provide an appropriate remedy at the Seller’s discretion.

This guarantee becomes void if the puppy has been exposed to high-risk environments, unvaccinated dogs, pet stores, dog parks, boarding facilities, or other locations where Parvovirus exposure may have occurred during that 72-hour period.

Veterinary Examination

The Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within seventy-two (72) hours of taking possession.

Failure to obtain this examination may void this health guarantee.

No Other Guarantees

The Seller makes no guarantees regarding:

  • Temperament
  • Breeding ability
  • Fertility
  • Show quality
  • Working ability
  • Coat, color, eye color, or adult size

These traits can change as the puppy matures.

Refund Policy

All deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to a future available puppy in accordance with Jenny’s Minis & More’s deposit policy.

Agreement

By signing below, both parties acknowledge they have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Puppy Purchase Agreement and One-Year Health Guarantee.
